Irma Williams Deese, 84, of Dothan, AL, died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Private funeral services and visitation will be held at a later date.

The family request flowers are omitted.

Mrs. Deese was born in Jakin, GA, a daughter of the late Chester and Evie Stokes Williams. She worked with GTE Telephone Company for thirty three years prior to her retirement and is of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are her husband of seventy years, Bryan Colon Deese, Dothan, AL; two sons, Danny Deese, Sylacauga, AL and Scott (Angie) Deese, Dothan, AL; a daughter, Ginger Elizabeth Deese, Midland City, AL; six grandchildren, Jason (Bethany) Darvin, Courtney Darvin, Mark Deese, Hope (Lee) Harper, Brandi Deese and Chris (Stephanie) Cosby; five great grandchildren, Chloe Cosby, Violet Cosby, Ella Harper, Jon Allen Harper and Caden Darvin.
