Mrs. Iva Rena Cooper Campbell, age 71, a resident of Cottonwood, died Tuesday November 29, 2016 at Flowers Hospital after an extended illness.


Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday December 2, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Rickey Plummer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Olives Cemetery in Cottonwood with Kendall Glover directing.


The family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Friday at Bethel Baptist Church.  Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Christian Academy, 3257 E. Cottonwood Rd., Dothan, AL. 36301.


Mrs. Campbell was born on June 2, 1945 in Kingston, Michigan the daughter of E. J. Cooper and Hattie Lucille Putnam Cooper.  She was a graduate of Kingston High School class of 1962 and she worked as a supervisor at the Cottonwood Sewing Factory for 10 years. 


She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Vern Cooper.


Survivors include: husband of 53 years, Ronald Campbell, Cottonwood; son, Greg Campbell (Jen), Reedsville, PA.;  2 daughters, Faith Reinelt (Mike) and Lisa Mercer (Mark) both of Cottonwood; honorary daughter, Becky McCardle, Cottonwood; 10 sisters; 3 brothers; 8 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.


Active pallbearers will be: Bradley Reinelt, Joshua Reinelt, Christopher Reinelt, Garrett Snook, Stewart Yoder and Aaron Webb.


Honorary pallbearers will be: Members of the Carol Miller Sunday School Class at Bethel Baptist Church.


Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
