Janice June Suggs, a resident of Dothan, died Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Noland Hospital. She was 72.


 


Memorial services for Mrs. Suggs will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Shady Grove Congregational Holiness Church with Sister Judy Dyson and Elder Jimmy Skipper officiating. The family will receive friends at the church.


 


Mrs. Suggs was born on the farm April 10, 1944 in Miller County, Georgia. She was a graduate of Miller County High School and later worked at Sony Mfg. and retired from Farley Nuclear Plant. Mrs. Suggs was a selfless Christian lady who loved to do for people and was a member of Shady Grove Congregational Holiness Church.


 


Mrs. Suggs is preceded in death by her twin sister, Jeanette Emerson; son, Billy Ladon Askew, Jr.


 


Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Suggs, Dothan; son, Randy and Gloria Askew, Columbus; step son, Tony Suggs, Pensacola; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Skipper Bryan, Sr., Bainbridge, Woody and Jackie Bryan, Dothan.
