Mrs. Jennie Pilla Motta, age 95, a resident of Dothan (formerly of Hebron, Indiana) died early Monday January 2, 2017 at Flowers Hospital after a brief illness.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Motta was born on June 5, 1921 in Gary, Indiana the daughter of Dominick Pilla and Marie Declara Pilla.  She moved to Dothan from Hebron, Indiana in 2006.  Mrs. Motta attended Beauty School in Meridian, MS. and retired as a self employed hairdresser after 40 years of service, she was a 1940 graduate of Emerson High School in Gary, Indiana.  She attended Harvest Church in Dothan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Motta and a son, Tim Motta.

Survivors include: son, Kenneth Motta, Dothan; 9 grandchildren, Derek, David, Timothy, Thain, Jayme, Joseph, Dominic, Zachariah and Joshua.
