Mrs. Jimmie N. Johnson of Elba passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at home following an extended illness.  She was 70.

 

Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery with Reverend Shaun Moore officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.

 

Mrs. Johnson was born December 29, 1945, in Crenshaw County.  She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Rayburn; her mother, Mildred Pedigo Rayburn; three brothers: Donald W. Rayburn, James L. Rayburn, and Robert M. Rayburn; a sister, Sherry Rayburn Moore; and an aunt, Bedie Pedigo.

 

Survivors include her husband, Lee A. “Leo” Johnson of Elba; one daughter: Rene Farris (Donny) of Elba; three sons: Ashley Johnson (Ashley Paige) of Dothan, Ken Anderson (Charlotte) of Elba, and Kim Anderson (Melody) of Elba; two brothers: Winsol Rayburn (Jean) of Andalusia, and Phillip Rayburn (Jane) of Opp; one sister, Virginia Sasser (Doug) of Andalusia.

 

The family thanks the staff of Gentiva Hospice for their loving, compassionate care.
