Johnnie T. Pinson

Mrs. Johnnie T. Pinson, 97, a resident of Dothan and formerly of Birmingham, passed away, Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her residence.

 Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Rideout’s Forest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham with Rideout’s Valley Chapel Funeral Home, 1802 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209 (205) 879-3401 directing. Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street is in charge of local arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane Ann Shannon of Dothan; two granddaughters, Dr. Lee Ann Beisher (Ethan) and Karen Naylor (Chris) and three great-grandchildren, Caroline Beisher, Lily Naylor and Sara Naylor, all of Homewood.

The family would like to express their appreciation to her  caregivers, Gwen Baxter, Mary Griffin, Lillie Knight, and Julisa Peoples as well as Southern Care Hospice nurses, Sherry Hughes and staff for their loving care of Mrs. Pinson.
