Mrs. Judy Vaudean Hodges Armentrout, age 88, a resident of Rehobeth died Thursday February 19, 2015 at the Bonifay Nursing & Rehab Center after an extended illness.


Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday February 22, 2015 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donna Cumbie officiating and Mr. Kevin Hinson providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Memory Hill Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.


The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m until 2 p.m. Sunday.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1314 Westgate Pkwy. #2, Dothan, AL. 36303.


Mrs. Armentrout was born on August 16, 1926 in Houston County the daughter of John Henry Hodges, Sr. and Vassie Mixon Hodges.  She was retired as a Quality control inspector with Twitchell and was a member of the Northside Methodist Church.


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Grover Lee Armentrout; two sisters, Alma Rice & Addie Rice.


Survivors include: daughter, Beverlye Hinson, Rehobeth; brother, John Hodges, Jr., Dothan; two special grandsons, Kevin Hinson (Deborah), Glen Carbon, Illinois; David Hinson (Suzanne), Dothan; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers will be: Kevin Hinson, David Hinson, Justin Hinson, Hunter Hinson, George Burk and Joe Rice.


Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
