Obituary: Julia Barnes

Mrs. Julia Barnes of Chancellor passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family.

A funeral mass will be said at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Father Patrick Maher officiating. Burial will follow on the Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 10:00am and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Barnes was born in Maine to the late John and Eva Rutkowski Barnes. In addition to her parents, her husband of 53 years Hulon Barnes, and one son, Dr. Joseph Barnes preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Skinner (Rick), Enterprise, AL; one sister Josephine Dzialga, Westbrook Maine; one granddaughter, Amanda Skinner, Enterprise, AL.
