Mrs. Julia “Judy” Taylor Robinson, age 82, of Cowarts, AL., passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at her home.

 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m., until 9 p,m., Friday, Oct. 3, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Gentiva Hospice in her memory.

 

Ms. Robinson was born Sept. 27, 1932 in Opelika, AL., to the late C.A. and Faye Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Robinson and her brother, James A. Taylor of Phenix City, AL.

 

She is survived by three sons; Lawrence Robinson, Cowarts, AL., Leon Robinson (Ann), Lakeview WA., and Joe Robinson (Brenda) of Dothan, AL, one daughter, Yvonne Owens, Dothan AL., and one sister, Jeanette Taylor Vordenbaum, Opelika, AL. Mrs. Robinson leaves behind six grandsons; Erik Owens, Tallahassee, FL., Scott Owens, Dothan, AL., Garrett Robinson, Pansey, AL., Gavin Robinson, Macon, GA., Steven Robinson, Lakewood, WA., and John Robinson, Orlando, FL. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
