Mrs. Katherine (Kathy) Ann Rabe Richardson, age 58, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday September 25, 2014 at her residence after an extended illness. 

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday September 27, 2014 in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Earl Bridges officiating and Kendall Glover directing. 

The family will be receiving friends from 2:15 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. in the Glover Funeral Home parlor.  Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Denton Road United Methodist Church, 2410 Denton Rd., Dothan, AL. 36303. 

Mrs. Richardson was born on February 18, 1956 in Jacksonville, Florida.   She had worked at Wex Tex in Dothan in early years and later worked as a waitress at Larry’s BBQ West and Pizza Hut South.  Kathy attended school at Houston County High School and she was a member of Denton Road United Methodist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Chris and David Rabe. 

Survivors include: Husband, Tony Richardson, Dothan; daughter, Michelle Garrett and a son Josh Richardson, both of Dothan; granddaughter, Kynlee Richardson, Daleville; sister, Margaret McKenzie, Midland City; brother, Robert Rabe, Washington State; mother-in-law, Mary Richardson, Dothan; several nieces, nephews, sister’s-in-law and a brother-in-law. 

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
