Mrs. Kathleen Ann Dow Jowers of Gordon passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at her residence. She was 74.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Saint Columba Catholic Church with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, August 8, 2014. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Saint Columba Catholic Church.

Mrs. Jowers loved baking, cake decorating, gardening and socializing with others. She also enjoyed collecting knick knacks and crocheting.

She is preceded in death by her parents George Dow and Delina Christian Dow and one sister Doris Pilsbury.

Survivors include her husband Bobby Jowers of Gordon; daughters Donna Lawley of Robertsdale, AL; Elaine Varnum and her husband Jeff of Tallahassee, Fl; Cynthia Conrad and friend Ricky Jett of Panama City, Fl; son Kenneth Conrad and his wife Tracy of Cottonwood; brother Robert Dow of Littleton, MA; twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and other family members.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
