Mrs. Katie Crews Labadie of Samson, Alabama passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Samson, Alabama. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Totten officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Thursday beginning at 12:00 until funeral time. Burial will follow in the Liberty Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, with Warren Holloway Ward funeral home directing.

Mrs. Labadie was born in Fountain, Florida to the late John Ezekiel and Claudie Jane Wise Crews.  She was a faithful member of Samson Iris Garden Club, active volunteer of RSVP.  Dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Samson and enjoyed her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry Jacob Labadie, one sister Lois Weeks and one brother, Charles Crews.

Survivors include: 1 daughter & son-in-law, Dian L Miller (Donald L.) of Samson, Alabama.  4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

2 step-sons: John and Joe Labadie.  1 sister: Nell Jenkins Chambers of Samson, Alabama and 2 brothers:  Earl Crews of Clio, Michigan and Wilmer Crews of Tampa, Florida. Number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
