Mrs. Lavelle G. Parker, age 83, of Dothan passed away at the Bonifay Health & Rehab on Thursday, November 13, 2014.

There will be a graveside service on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 1 PM at Selma Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

Lavelle was a longtime member and Sunday school teacher of Taylor Methodist Church. She also served as a teacher’s aide  at Vaughn Blumberg for many years.

Lavelle is survived by her sons, Phillip B. Parker (Stefanie) of Black, AL., Frankie Parker of Gordon, Timothy Joe parker (Jill) of Ozark, Tommy Parker of Slocomb; 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
