Mrs. Lawana Cauley Tallent of Dothan passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015. She was 64.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Lawana taught Sunday School at Bethel Baptist Church. She was an avid Alabama fan and loved NASCAR, but most of all she loved watching her sons race cars. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

 

Mrs. Tallent is preceded in death by her parents.

 

Survivors include her husband Greg Tallent, daughters Lindsay Hawkins (Kane) of Ball Ground, GA; Ashley Millard (Daniel) of Woodstock, GA; sons Jimmy Prather (Amy) of Dothan; Gregory Tallent (Ashley) of Dothan; sister Terry Cureton (Ken) of Columbia, AL; brother Don Cauley of Dothan; grandchildren Shelby Prather, Luke Hawkins, Grayson Hawkins, Brandon Millard, Austin Sims, Addilynne Tallent and Hunner Tallent.

 

Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Tice, Glenn Jones, Scott Dixon, Ryan Lewis, Jamey Watkins and Scott Perry.

Honorary pallbearer will be Shelby Prather.
