Mrs. Lois Braswell, 85, of Warner Robins, GA and formerly of Enterprise, AL, died on Saturday in Macon, GA.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Meadowlawn cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 1:30 PM on Wednesday.

Mrs. Braswell was a local artist renowned for her watercolor and oil paintings.  She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Martin; her husband, James “Grover” Braswell; and son, William P. Braswell.

Survivors include her son, James “Jim” and wife Lisabeth Braswell, Warner Robins, GA; grandsons, James and wife Aindrea, and Richard Braswell;  great grandchildren; Christine Cranford, Brandon Braswell-Murphy, Matthew Cranford, Blair Yats, Theodore Braswell and Sidney Clavier; and great-great-grandchild; Kai Xavier Cruz; also daughter-in-law, Donna Knight Hughes (widow of William Braswell); grandchildren Jennifer Mullen and Randal Braswell.
