Mrs. Louise R. Weeks Martin of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of Geneva County, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014.  She was 95.


Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. EST Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in the chapel of Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Oak Ridge Chapel beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time.  On Wednesday, September 3, the family will receive friends at Sorrels Funeral Home in Geneva from 6 until 8 p.m.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, at Weeks Memorial Assembly of God Cemetery. 


Mrs. Martin was born December 2, 1918, in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Eliga Moses and Vera Frances (Nee Ross) Richards.  She worked in the state of Alabama and Florida and later retired as a sales representative for the Tupperware Company.  Mrs. Martin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lucerne Park, Florida and also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Samson, Alabama.


In addition to her parents her husbands, Robert V. Weeks, Sr., George Mimbs and L. H. Martin, preceded her in death.


Survivors include her sons: Robert V. (Bettie) Weeks of Winter Haven, FL, James H. (Kay) Weeks of Winterville, GA; sisters: Mabel Adams and Delda Livingston, both of Winter Haven; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; other extended family.
