Mrs. Lucille Scott of Dothan passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at her residence. She was 88.


Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Todd Watkins and Rick Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, July 6, 2015. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice 104 Rock Bridge Rd. Dothan, AL 36303.


Mrs. Scott was born December 24, 1926 in Houston County to the late W.E. Elmore and Ethel McNeil Elmore.


Mrs. Scott is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers E.R. Elmore and J.J. Elmore, two sisters Beulah Mae Elmore and Willie Lee Strickland.


Survivors include her children Charlotte (Albert) Watkins, Ronda (Tommy) Burns, Paula (Rick) Garrett, six grandchildren Todd (Kimberly) Watkins, Renae (Ronnie) White, Courtney (Chris) Raines, Matthew (Christy) Anderson, Natalie (Tim) Stonestreet,


Priscilla (Danny) Caudle, seven great-grandchildren Colleen Peterson, Jayden, Kohen and Henley Raines, Lauren and Ben Watkins, Victoria Caudle, two sisters Myrle Rollins, Zelma Huddleston, sister-in-law Nell Elmore, and several nieces and nephews.
