Obituary:  Marjorie Stevens Starling 


Mrs. Marjorie Stevens Starling of Malvern passed away Wednesday, July, 23, 2014 at Flowers Hospital. She was 77. 


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb with Rev. Robert Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Midland City. 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. 


Marjorie was born November 7, 1936 in Ohio to the late Royal William and Esther Mae Snider Stevens. 


In addition to her parents, her husband of 50 years, A.C. “Pete” Starling; sisters: Gloria Davis and Irene Glover; brothers: Royal, Howard, Albert, Larry and Buddy Stevens all preceded her in death. 


Survivors include two sons: Douglas and Dennis Miller; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters: Patsy Floyd and Dorothy Parm; four brothers: George, Jerry, Patton (Kay) and David Stevens (Judy); several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
