Mary Lenora Andrews, a resident of Dothan, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at her residence. She was 83.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Andrews will be held at 3 PM Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Hodgesville Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Bristow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hodgesville Baptist Church Building Fund.

 

Mrs. Andrews was born December 1, 1930 to the late David T. and Mary Fowler Hall and was a lifelong resident of Houston County. She enjoyed flower gardening, working in her yards and gospel music. Mrs. Andrews was a member of Hodgesville Baptist Church and the 39ers Sunday School class.

 

Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ray Andrews; a son, Eddie Andrews; and a son in law, Harold Kirland, Jr.

 

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Gwen and Morris Strickland, Dothan; two sons and their wives, Kelvin and Linda Andrews, Gerald and Patsy Andrews, all of Dothan; three grandchildren, Amanda and Richard Crum, Holly and Patrick Danner and John Andrews; two great grandchildren, Shane and Casey Crum.
