Mrs. Mazie Hartford of Coffee Springs passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016, in Dothan.  She was 84.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Bruce Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

Mazie was born October 4, 1931, in Coffee County to the late Thomas and Annie Herrington.    She was a great homemaker and a wonderful cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Ricky Mathis, and twelve brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Lloyd Hartford of Coffee Springs, two daughters: Kathy Currey (Paul) of Dothan and Brenda Hartford of New Orleans, LA; a brother, Frank of Coffee Springs; a sister, Shirley of Coffee Springs; two grandchildren: Will and Zack Mathis; and two great-grandchildren: Connor and Cowan Mathis.
