Obituary:  Mrs. Mella Faye Dean

 

            Mrs. Mella Faye Dean of Enterprise, AL passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.  She was 74.

            Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the College Avenue Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 6 until 8 pm.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Camp Wiregrass in Chancellor AL at P.O. Box 311072 Enterprise, AL 36331.

            Mrs. Dean was born On April 5, 1939 in Florida to the late Grady and Ruby Long Davis. In addition to her parents, her husband James Robert Dean and one son Rodney Earl Dean preceded her in death.

            Survivors include one daughter, Donna Wise (Kenneth), Panama City, FL; three sons: Randy Dean (Judy), Weatherford, TX, Joey Dean (Sonya), Enterprise, AL, David Dean (Stacey), Troy, AL; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
