Mrs. Myra Agnes Parker Ennis, age 90, a resident of Wesley Place passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017.                               


Born November 3, 1926 in Coffee County to the late Felix and Vesta Compton Parker, Myra was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed working crossword puzzles and reading.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melanie Ennis Sexton and two brothers and one sister.


She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Billy) Woodham and Jennifer Brannon; her son, Jimmy (Patsy) Ennis; her grandchildren, Patti (Thomas) Flowers, Jessica (Brian) Lynn, Steven Sexton, Drew McLure, Chad (Megan) Ennis, Sarah Sexton, Meagan Ennis, and Johnny Sexton; her great-grandchildren, Hillery (Andrew) Brooks, Brittney (Micah) Brown, Tucker Lynn, Aiden Lynn, and John Flowers; her great-great-grandchildren, Hadley Brooks and Warren Brooks; numerous other relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, January 26, 2017 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Les Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.


Active pallbearers will be Mrs. Ennis’ grandsons.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
