Mrs. Nettie Mae Hudson of Lakeland, FL and formerly of Samson passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012.  She was 84.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Hartley officiating and Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. 

 Mrs. Hudson was born in Coffee County, AL on May 4, 1928 to the late Gene Marion Butts and Alice Corine Butts.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Hudson; daughter, Frances Louise Carnley and great grandson, Jason Carnley, Jr.

 She is survived by her son, James L. Hudson of Lakeland, FL; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
