Obituary: Patricia Gail Kimel

Patricia “Gail” Kimel of Daleville passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Enterprise.  She was 71.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise.  Burial will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gail may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

Gail was born January 17, 1944 in Kentucky, to the late Albert and Frances Cullcut.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where she taught 5 year old Sunday School for many years. She was a charter member of The Enterprise Quilters.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Gerald D. “Jerry” Kimel.

Survivors include two daughters: Michele Kline (Kurt) of Level Plains and Christine Gokey (Chris) of Dothan; a son, Jason Kimel (Jennifer) of Columbus, GA; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

The family thanks Gentiva Hospice for their loving, compassionate care.
