Obituary: Mrs. Patricia Turner

 

 

Mrs. Patricia Turner of Hartford passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Flowers Hospital. She was 76. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Jones and Rev. Orrin Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. 

Mrs. Turner was born December 26, 1936 in Hartford to the late Gordon D. and Ruby L. Shirley Brown. She was a graduate of Geneva County High School and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Donald Turner, Hartford; a son, Donald G. Turner (Terri), Dothan; two grandchildren: Tyler Turner and Wesley Patrick Turner; a sister; Nina Sue VanAlst, Prattvile, AL; two special cousins: Ceretha Osborn and Debbie Overby both of Columbus, GA; nieces and nephews .
