Mrs. Pauline Beasley Bell of Slocomb passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Wesley Manor.  She was 96.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Paul Farmer officiating.  Burial will follow in Old Oak Grove Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until service time.  In lieu of flowers, the family requested that contributions be made to the Methodist Homes Corporation Fountain of Love, 718 Honeysuckle Road, Dothan, AL  36305.

Mrs. Bell was born on April 25, 1916 in Geneva County, AL to the late David and Sophia Layton Beasley.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Cody Bell; two brothers; and one sister.

S
urvivors include her sister, Mildred Dean, of Hartford as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Wesley Manor for their kindness and care.  They would also like to thank Mrs. Pauline’s special friend, Kenisha McIntire.
