Peggy Ann Cureton, a resident of Dothan, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at her residence. She was 69.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dothan City cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 pm prior to the services at the funeral home.


 


Mrs. Cureton was born June 18, 1945 in Dothan to the late Ernest Neal and Kathryn Duke Hall, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Dothan and worked as a dispatcher at Dothan Cab Company, Shute’s Pecan and DeanCo Auction. Mrs. Cureton enjoyed reading and collecting angels and was of the Baptist faith.


 


Mrs. Cureton is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ernest Neal Hall, Jr., and the father of her children, General Lamar Brantley.


 


Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Johnny Cureton, Dothan; two daughters, Patty Brantley Wilson, (Eric), Covington, GA, Pamela Brantley, Dothan; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Ginger Price, Winder, GA; brother, Lee Hall (Fonda), Taylor.
