Obituary: Mrs. Robbie Jean Ketchum



Date: January 19, 2015



 



 



Mrs. Robbie Jean Ketchum of Hartford passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at Flowers Hospital. She was 76. 



Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2015 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Belcher and Rev. Bruce Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. 



The family will be meeting at Mrs. Robbie's home, 1545 Hendrix Road, Hartford, AL 36344. 



Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3241 Co. Rd. 47, Hartford, AL 36344.



Mrs. Ketchum was born December 10, 1938 in Geneva County to the late James Hilburn and Mary Lizzie Morris Fondren. Mrs. Robbie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. 



In addition to her parents, husband, James Edward Ketchum; grandson, Justin Edward Ketchum, sister, Kate Ellenburg, brothers-in-law: Rayford Ellenburg and William "Bill" Ketchum all  preceded her in death. 



Survivors include, daughter, Rhonda Tindell (Junior), Hartford; son, Steve Ketchum (Lisa), Hartford; four grandchildren: Wes Tindell (Carrie), Stephanie Bowden (Anthony), Lauren Fountain (Drew) and Lana Bond (Chris); three step-grandchildren: Travis Bright Jr. (Libby), Chad Bright (Brittany) and Eric Walding; seven great grandchildren: Addie Beth Bowden, Judson Bowden, Ella Grace Fountain, Ryles Fountain, Ava Tindell, Gray Tindell and Lexi Tindell; five step-great grandchildren: Christopher Bond, Elizabeth Bond, Maddie Bright, Tripp Bright and Luke Bright; sister-in-law, Helen Ketchum Gano; nephews: Rickey Ellenburg, Donnie Ellenburg and Mark Ketchum; niece, Genary Ketchum LaPlant; extended family and numerous friends. 



Serving as pallbearers: Wes Tindell, Drew Fountain, Anthony Bowden, Tommy Fondren, Bobby Fondren and Eric Walding.
