Mrs. Ruby Dudley Schwinn, age 90, a resident of Dothan, died Monday August 17, 2015 at her residence after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday August 22, 2015 in the Hodgesville Baptist Church with the Reverend’s Mark Bristow and John Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday August 21, 2015 at Glover Funeral Home.  Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hodgesville Baptist Church, 11190 S. Co. Rd. 33, Dothan, Al. 36301 or to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Al. 36303.

Mrs. Schwinn was born on January 1, 1925 in Hodgesville the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Millege Eugene Dudley, Sr.(Willie Mae Garner Dudley).  She was a Dedicated & Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great-Grandmother, Sister , Aunt and Friend.  Mrs. Schwinn was a homemaker and a member of the Hodgesville Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Carl Dudley (Evelyn) & Millege Eugene Dudley, Jr.; brother-in-law, John Edwards.

Survivors include: husband of 69 years, Murrow D. (Row) Schwinn, Jr., Dothan; 2 daughters, Lynda Smith (Jerry) and Cindie Brookins (Charles), both of Hodgesville; sister, Elizabeth Edwards, LaGrange, Ga.; brother, Bryant Dudley (Ann), Hodgesville; 4 grandchildren, Felicia Vise (Robb), Nathan Fouts, Jeremy Fouts, and Adam Brookins (Emily); 5 great-grandchildren, Johnathan Vise, Phillip Ploss, Addison Fouts, Kade Brookins and Zane Brookins; 1 great-great-grandchild, Asher Vise; several nieces & nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews & great-nephews: Eddie Hardy, Joe Leverett, Duane Edwards, Dennis Dudley, Keith Dudley, Sam Hunter & Davis Dudley.
