Ruby Nell Sizemore, a resident of Dothan, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at her residence. She was 74.

Memorial services for Mrs. Sizemore will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Harper’s Joy Assembly of God Church with Rev. Eddie Littlefield officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.

Mrs. Sizemore was born May 20, 1939 in Houston County to Clem and Beulah Knowles Brooks. She was a lifelong resident of Houston County and retired from General Cigar Company.

Mrs. Sizemore is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul “Shorty” Sizemore; one sister and six brothers.

Survivors include two sons, Stevie and Lorri Sizemore, Dothan, Scottie Sizemore, Dothan; three grandchildren, Zack Sizemore, Lauren Ashley Gouge (Jacob) and Allyssa Danielle Sizemore; sister, Merle and Ben Harden, Dothan and several nieces and nephews.
