Obituary: Sarah Metcalf

 

Mrs. Sarah Metcalf of New Brockton passed away Friday evening, March 25, 2016 at the family residence. She was 88.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Cliff Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in the Enterprise City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 1:00pm and continuing until service time.

 

Mrs. Metcalf was born January 3, 1928 in Coffee County to the late William and Ethel Chesher Carr. She was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Enterprise. In addition to her parents, her husband Joe Tom Metcalf preceded her in death.  

 

Survivors include her four children: Carol Young (Darryl), New Port Richie, FL, Billy Joe Metcalf, New Brockton, AL, Rita Barger (Gene), Clearwater, FL, William Randall Metcalf, Enterprise, AL, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
