Mrs. Susan Rebecca Parker of Headland passed away Friday, July 4, 2014. She was 64.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, July 7, 2014 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tommy Green officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery in Elba, AL at 4 P.M. with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Monday, July 7, 2014, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Kelley Place Assisted Living in Enterprise, AL.
She was a loving wife, mother and “MeMe” to her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping with her daughters and gardening. She enjoyed helping others and loved spending time with her church family.
She is preceded in death by her father Joe Russell of Elba; and her grandmother Ethel Weed of Elba.
Survivors include her husband Rick Parker of Headland; son Scott Parker and his wife Stephanie of Lynn Haven, FL; daughters Kelli McQueen and her husband David of Geneva, AL; Sandi Weimorts and her husband Joey of Chipley, Fl; brother Mike Russell and his wife Wanda of Gantt, AL; sisters Henrietta Taylor and her husband George of Elba; Phoebe Miller and her husband Jerry of Coffee Springs, AL; four grandchildren Cara Parker, Clay Parker, Mallory Wise and Raigan Weimorts. She also had a special aunt Roslyn Watford of Dothan and her mother Jane Russell of Graceville, FL.
Cousins, and friends will serve as pallbearers.
