Mrs. Sybil Florene Peacock passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 87.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral home & Crematory with Reverend Larry Doster and Dr. Jeff Peacock officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 3 until 5 pm.

Mrs. Peacock was born September 4, 1927 in Geneva County to the late Alto Weldon and Mary Cotton King. In addition to her parents, her husband, Daniel Gibson Peacock, one daughter, Carolyn Jean Peacock Cranford, six brothers, and three sisters all preceded her in death. 

Flowers will be accepted or contributions can be made to Lee Street Baptist Church Building Fund, 630 E Lee St, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Survivors include one son, Samuel Bruce Peacock (Margie), Repton, AL; three daughters, Linda Parrish (Ron), Chancellor, Jill Marie Skeen (Larry), Enterprise, Judy Fay Gay (Danny), Enterprise; two sisters, Mildred King Miller, Enterprise, Alice Windham, Indiana; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
