Thelma Louise Brown, a resident of Dothan, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 78.


Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held at 10 AM Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Brother George Ellison officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM (EST) Saturday in Holly Hills cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida with Brother Steve Coy officiating and Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM Friday, March 15, 2013. At other times, the family will meet at 300 Fowler Road Ashford, Alabama, 36312.


Mrs. Brown was born in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Herman Joseph and Wilma Louise Hollington Marshall. She was raised in Port St. Joe where she was a graduate of Port St. Joe High School. Mrs. Brown enjoyed cooking and talking with friends but her passion was her grandchildren. She attended Dothan Church of God and also Gospel Assembly in Panama City.


Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband, Lindon Leroy Brown; son, Lindon Alan Brown and a brother Roy Marshall.


Survivors include her daughters and their husbands, Cathy and BJ Lisenby, Ashford, Linda and Jimmy Campbell, LaGrange, GA; four grandchildren, Adam Campbell and his wife, Renee, Kyle Campbell and his wife, Anna, Jared Lisenby and Cameron Lisenby; three great grandchildren, Jax Campbell, Makinley Campbell and Brylee Campbell.
