Mrs. Thelma L. Gulledge of Dothan passed away on June 10, 2015 at Hillview Assisted Living. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Michael Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 PM until service time. At all other times, the family will be at the home of Gary Williams, 174 Tyson Road, Dothan, AL 36301.

Mrs. Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a member of the Chapelwood Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in July 1969. She continued her life faithful to her heavenly father until her passing. She had a firm belief in the resurrection hope held out in God’s word, the Bible.

Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, John D. Gulledge. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Hagan Tew and one son, Gary Williams, both of Dothan; a son-in-law, Sam Tew; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Williams; five grandchildren, Heather Meyers, Sean Sellers, Cameron Sellers, Jennifer Adams, and Kevin Williams; three great-grandchildren, Skyler Sellers, Emily Sellers, and Melodie Spivey; and an extended family of several sisters and brothers.

The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Resource Center, 1314 Westgate Pkwy #2, Dothan, AL  36303 or Covenant Hospice, 4215 Kelson Avenue #E, Marianna, FL 32446.

The family wishes to thank Covenant Hospice and Hillview Assisted Living for their care and compassion.
