Mrs. Vickie Ann Kirkland Jacobs, age 51, a resident of Dothan died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Madrid Cemetery, Madrid, AL. with Rev. Jerry Harden officiating and Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends at the graveside following the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL. 36111.

Mrs. Jacobs was born on February 8, 1964 in Dothan the daughter of Earnest Bryant Kirkland and Ressie Lee Gore Kirkland. She was a lifelong resident in the Dothan area. She worked as a Cashier in various Convenience Stores in the area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Maxine Crooms.

Survivors include: husband of 34 years; Jerome Jacobs, Dothan; 2 sons, Nathan Jacobs (Jennifer), Ashford, Josh Jacobs, Dothan; daughter Kayla Jacobs, Dothan; 3 sisters, Dorothy Bell (Lavon), Dothan, Janice Hollingshed (Clyde), Rehobeth, Glenda Kirkland Nobles, Dothan; 4 brothers, Ray Kirkland, Dothan, Roy Kirkland, Madrid, Eddie Joe Kirkland (Sue), Madrid, Earnest Earl Kirkland, Madrid; 5 grandchildren, Austin Jacobs, Jessie Jacobs, Kayden Jacobs, Alexis Jacobs, Jaceyln Miller; brother-in-law, Curtis Crooms, Cottonwood.

Pallbearers: Ray Kirkland, Jr., Cameron Jacobs, Jason Pearson, John Paul Miller, Bryant Nobles, Nick Catillia.
