Obituary:  Violeta Luciano Cotto

Violeta Luciano Cotto of Enterprise passed away at her home on Sunday, November 13, 2016.  She was 80.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at St. John Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 – 1:00 at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.

Violeta was born September 11, 1936, in Puerto Rico, to the late Antonio Cotto and Herminia Luciano.  She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, three brothers, Edward J. Camacho, William Benitez, and Juan Benitez Sr.; one nephew, Dioni DelValle, and a brother-in-law, Hector Agosto preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Victoria Montalvo of Enterprise; two sons: Marcial E. Ayala and Raymond A. Cotto, both of Florida; one brother, Juan Benitez Jr. of New York; two sisters: Antonia Agosto of Florida and Rose O’Sullivan of North Carolina; two grandchildren: Priscilla Ayala and John M. Ayala; five great-grandchildren: Alize Chaves, Alyssa Chaves, Sofia Ayala, Felix Ayala, Lukis Ayala, and number one niece and God-daughter, Eva Segrs.
