Mrs. Voncile M. Clemmons Leavins of Izagora Drive, Bonifay, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 04, 2015.  She was 94.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva.  Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 9:30 and continue until service time.

Mrs. Leavins was born March 2, 1921, in Holmes County, Florida to the late Samuel A. and Mamie A. Galloway Clemmons.  She was a very hard working lady and was totally devoted to her family.  She was a member of Oak Grove Pentecostal Ministries, but also attended Smith Chapel Assembly of God.  Mrs. Leavins was a very dedicated servant of the Lord.  She loved attending church and reading her bible.  She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Onie T. Leavins, a son, O’Neal Leavins, two brothers: Adolph and Gordan Clemmons, two sisters: Genear Murphy and Geraldine Owens, and a son-in-law, Ray Anderson, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons: Wren (Juanita) Leavins and Donald (Anna) Leavins; four daughters: Blonnie (Dan) Wheeler, Sonia Anderson, June Leavins and Julie (Clyde) Williamson, all of Bonifay; daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Leavins of Geneva; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Covenant Hospice for the special care that was given to their loved one.
