Mrs. Willie Dell Grimes of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Monday, September 21, 2015.  She was 79. 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 24, 2015 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Randall Pearson officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Johnson Group Home, 1630 E. County Road 4, Geneva, AL 36340. 

Mrs. Grimes was born November 13, 1935 in Coffee County, AL to the late T.O. Adkison and Bertha Bloodsworth Wilson.  She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Grimes, a daughter, Sylvia Grimes, and a sister, Marie McIntosh. 

Survivors include 3 daughters: Roberta Kelley (Dennis), Smith Station, AL, Stacy Johnson (Barrie), Enterprise, AL, Wanda Mote, Enterprise, AL; 1 son, Dale Grimes (Wendy), Enterprise, AL; 2 sisters: Barbara Wilson, New Brockton, AL, Angeline Mitchell (Roy), Chancellor, AL; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. 

The family wishes to express a thank you to the staff on hall 5 at Enterprise Health and Rehab.
