Ms. Angela (Angie) Diannie Waters Brown, age 48, a resident of Dothan, died early Monday, September 14, 2015 at her residence. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ricky Plummer officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends at Glover Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Flowers will be accepted.

Ms. Brown was born on November 24, 1966 in Dothan, the daughter of James Rufus Waters and Glenda Joy Battle Waters.  She was a 1983 graduate of Rehobeth High School and received her LPN degree from Wallace College.  Angie worked as a LPN for several years and was also a Hairdresser, nail technician and a caretaker.  She was a member of the Dothan Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Odell & Robbie Waters; maternal grandfather, Dudley Battle; a sister, Dianne Holman and a brother, DeWayne Waters.

Survivors include: son, Phillip Parrish (Samantha), Slocomb; mother, Glenda Battle Jordan, Dothan; father, James Waters, Slocomb; grandmother, Louise Battle, Dothan; special aunt, Barbara Buckhalt (Willette), Ashford; sister-in-law, Joy Waters, Hartford; brother-in-law, Paul Holman, Hartford; 2 nieces, Justina Waters & Jade Waters, both of Hartford; several cousins; a special dog “Bonnie Bell”.

Pallbearers will be: Paul Battle, Ken Buckhalt, Willette Buckhalt, Ricky Forrester, Paul Holman, Earl Starling and Jeffrey Battle.

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
