Annette Martin, age 71 of the Goodman Community, passed away, Thursday, August 27, 2015 in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Goodman Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Williams and Dr. John Granger officiating.  Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, August 29^th from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.  The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Goodman Baptist Church, % Annette Martin, Kitchen Fund, 6561 County Road 625, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Ms. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, Jessup and Irene Jones Childs, a brother, Jacob Childs and a sister, Janice Seaver.

Survivors include her daughters, Dawn (Calvin) Smith, Opp, AL; Nina Sasser, Goodman, AL; sisters, Madelyn Adkison, New Brockton, AL; Joyce Merle Kelley (Fred) Goodman, AL; Julia Faye Carter, Porter, TX; Doris Coles (Louis) Goodman, AL; Rosie Mary Steele; Vicky Dunn (Joe); Brenda Childs; brothers, Randall Childs (Bernice) Orlando, FL; Therman Childs (Marie) Orlando, FL; Gerald Childs (Nancy) Ocoee, FL; Dewitt Childs; Steve Childs; Glenn Childs (Danielle); grandsons, Luke Smith and Jason Sasser; granddaughters, Hillary Sasser and Dalis Smith.  Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
