Ms. Carolyn Foreman Hensley, age 76, of Ashford passed away Friday, January 8, 2016.

 

Born April 2, 1939 in Barbour County to the late Arnice and Louise Bowman Foreman, Carolyn loved her family, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Delton Foreman and the father of her children, Doug Hensley.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Robin (David) Lewis and Rhonda (Kenneth) Jackson; her son, Richard (Sandy) Hensley; her sisters, Catherine (D. B.) Worley and Hazel (Junior) Hall; her grandchildren, Casi (Jeffrey) Peters, Cari Jackson, Kody Lewis and Christina (C. J.) Smith; her great-grandchildren, Mason Peters, Caydee Smith, and Claire Smith; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Sunday, January 10, 2016 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joel Snell officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM, Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the funeral home.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
