Ms. Carolyn Louise Palmer, 93, of Slocomb passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 in Graceville, FL.

 

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, December 14, 2015 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Reverend Bob Gross officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

Born August 24, 1922 in Hartford to the late Clarence and Mary Ruby Jones Palmer, Ms. Carolyn was a member of First Baptist Church. She worked as a bookkeeper for Houston Paper Company for over 15 years and Newberry’s for over 30 years.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James T. Palmer and Ralph S. Palmer, her sister, Ann Hammack; her sisters-in-law, Ibera Palmer and Jane Palmer; her brother-in-law, Leon Hammack; her niece, Barbara McCarver; he nephew, Lavaughn Palmer; and her great-nephew, Jimmy Milburn.

 

Survivors include her nieces, Sue Milburn Hume (Ron) of Slocomb and Jean Moye (Bill) of Albany, GA; her nephew, Jerry Hammack of Texas; several great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
