Ms. Deborah Maggie Carter Nowell, age 61, a resident of Ashford (formerly of Dothan) died Sunday May 10, 2015 at the Hartford Health Care following an extended illness.
Glover Funeral Home is in charge of Cremation services and there will be no Memorial services. The family request that memorial donations may be made to Memphis Baptist Church, 4595 Eddins Rd., Dothan, AL. 36301.
Ms. Nowell was born on May 7, 1954 in Dothan the daughter of Jim Bob Carter and Susie Mae Smith Carter. She worked as a Registered Supply Tech at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center before becoming disabled in 1999. Ms. Nowell had lived most of her lifetime in Dothan area and she was a member of Memphis Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jimmy Rogers Carter.
Survivors include: daughter, Kelly Randolph (Harold), Ashford; two sons, Bruce Nowell, Cowarts; Deven Nowell, Iowa; 8 grandchildren, Nicholas Randolph, Westly Randolph, Tye Nowell, Chance Nowell, MaKenzi Randolph, Brooke Randolph, Dylan Nowell and Lakyn Nowell.
