Ms. Fannie Louise "Nannie" Smith of Slocomb passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at her home. She was 79. Fannie left her loving family to be with her heavenly Father and her loved ones that has passed before her. She will be dearly missed. 


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Bible Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing. 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 


Ms. Smith was born June 8, 1936 in Geneva County to the late Frank Zion and Stella Jenkins Smith. 


In addition to her parents, son Tony Randall Smith; four brothers: Frank Smith, Wilburn Smith, Grover Smith and Alfred Smith all preceded her in death. 


Survivors include four grandchildren: Anthony Ryan Smith, Pamela Cox, Leah Bolin and Perry Bolin; daughter-in-law, Libby Bolin Smith; two brothers: Harvey Smith and Jack Smith (Suzette); several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. She will be missed by her best and most loyal friend, her dog Windy.
