Ms. Linda Jean McLaughlin Windham, age 66, a resident of Dothan, passed away Wednesday September 10, 2014 at the Noland Hospital after an extended illness. 


Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend's Orrin Barrett and Aaron Dickinson officiating and Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery on Hwy. 431 North. 


The family will receive friends at Glover Funeral Home on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home. 


Ms. Windham was born on December 26, 1947 in Dothan the daughter of the late Kenneth Clyde McLaughlin and Foy Jean Faulk McLaughlin.  She was retired as a property manager of apartments, having worked for Robert Flatt and the Blissett family.  Ms. Windham was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and was a Graduate of Dothan High School Class of 1966. 


She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Rex Lee Windham. 


Survivors include: two sons, Kevin Scott Windham (Amanda), Long Beach, Ms.; Kenneth Paul Windham, Dothan; brother, David Paul McLaughlin (Terri), Tuscaloosa; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Jay Windham, Frankie Siegert, Madison Siegert, Ben Windham, Faith Windham and Colby Windham; niece, Madison McLaughlin and 2 nephews, Justin and Matthew McLaughlin.


Pallbearers will be:  Anton Boigenzahn, Bryson Hutcherson, Bryan Peters, Ben Windham, Frankie Siegert and Cliff Elsensohn.


Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
