Pamela Long, 62, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Charlie Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the services.

Born in Houston County, Alabama, Pamela was a daughter of the late Raymond Long and Maxine White Cain. She was a 1971 graduate of Dothan High School and worked as a Bookkeeper with Jeffers Veterinary Supply Company for the past ten years. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Ray Long and Larry Long and special friend, Genene Offet.

Surviving are a son, Keith Michael Bright, Dothan, Alabama: two sisters, Delores Posey, Ashford, Alabama, and Suzi Pybus, Niceville, Florida; three grandchildren, Jace Bright, Josh Mabry, and Shelby Daniels; several  nieces and nephews; aunt & uncle, Margaret & Ray Carter; sister-in-law, Kathy Long; special friends, Joel Offet, and her Jeffers work family, along with her favorite pet, Ruby.
