Shana Kay Buie Snell, a resident of Columbia, Alabama, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at her residence. She was 37.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Markus Murdock officiating. Private graveside services for the immediate family will follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

 

Born in Houston County, Alabama on October 19, 1977, she was a daughter of William Herbert and Sharron Fountain Buie. She was a 1995 graduate of Rehobeth High School and worked as a receptionist for Carmichael Appraisal Service. She was a member of Center Baptist Church.

 

She was preceded in death by brother, Shawn Buie, and grandparents, James Edward Fountain, Walton Travis Buie and Mitchell Louise Nowell Buie, and an uncle Edward Fountain.

 

Surviving in addition to her parents are her step mother, Cathy (William Herbert) Buie; two sons, Kyle William Snell, Columbia, Alabama and Kaleb Jameson Snell, Slocomb, Alabama; maternal grandmother, Montez Fountaine, Webb, Alabama; three nieces and nephews, several cousins.
