Tressie was born and raised in the rural Crossville Community of Lamar County, Alabama. She married N.K. Tressie worked for many years as bookkeeper/office manager at Bishop’s Cleaners and Laundry, while raising 2 children and enjoyed gardening, Alabama football, and playing bridge. She loved Dothan and developed countless friendships in the area, especially in the Calvary Baptist Church family where she was a member for over 50 years. The family wishes to express deepest appreciation to the wonderful staff at Extendicare assisted living facility of Dothan, where she spent her final years and was the reigning “Ms Extendicare 2013.” Thanks also to Gentiva Hospice, the Calvary Church Family, and her many wonderful friends for their love and support.
