Myrtice Louise Davis Strickland of Dothan passed away Friday, November 6, 2015. She was 84.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Rehobeth Baptist Church with Reverend Travis Free and Bro. David Etheredge officiating. Burial will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, November 9, 2015. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mrs. Strickland was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church. She retired from SAMC as a nursing assistant. She loved her family and the Lord dearly.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents T.J. Davis and Daisy Jones Davis, husband Floyd Strickland, one brother and one sister.

 

Survivors include her son Larry Strickland and his wife Patricia of Dothan; sister Katie Kirkland of Graceville, FL; and two brothers. Three grandchildren Thomas Strickland, Tammy Watson and Clay Strickland; seven great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
